Here are some fun pictures & videos of Gavin playing in Bear Lake. We live a few minutes from the city park and from there you can walk down a boardwalk to the lake. There is hardly ever any people there & it is nice and peaceful. It is so pretty! We love the beach!
One night Brent, Brian & Jaimee's dad, Jim, decided to ride their bikes around the lake! So they got up early the next morning and did it! I think it is somewhere around 48 miles to go around the lake. I know, they are crazy! Good job guys! You are awesome!
We had some friends come over to Bloomington Lake and they invited us to go with them. My cousin, Jacee is working and living with us this summer. She came with us to Bloomington Lake and we are glad to have her around! I didn't think anyone would be brave enough to ride the rope swing, but Brent jumped on & went for a ride and we were all laughing! So the adults gave it a try! We didn't actually jump in the water though because as you can see in the pics/videos it was pretty cold and there was still snow up there! It was so fun and on our hike back we got caught in this CRAZY thunder/hail/rain/snow storm! It was one of the scariest yet coolest things ever! I wish I would have gotten some of it on video but we were too busy running for our lives to the car! Good times!

I've done that rope swing two summers ago. It's intimated and thrilling. No pictures...it's hard when I'm usually the one taking them. Go back up when it's warm. Loved it.
Glad that you guys are enjoying Bear Lake. That is CRAZY that Brent rode his bike around the lake, WOW! That must have taken forever! When I was just there my Dad, Mom and I drove around it. It reminded me of the time that Chris Scothern, Brad Moss and I drove around it, GOOD TIMES!!!
Yeah Bloomington Lake is so gorgeous. We did a family picnic, walk and rode the rope swing a couple summers back. My Mom rode the rope swing, but didn't pull up with her arms, so she was just heavy weight. It was hard for her to hold on and she just barely made it to the water and landed in the rocks. We were so SCARED I honestly thought "I just lost my Mom!" We were so glad that she was able to walk out alone. Now looking back we laugh about it, but at the time it was so scary!
Hope that things continue to go well for you guys. Love ya lots!
