I just wanted to let everyone know that we made it and we are all moved! It is so weird to think that we don't live in Millville anymore. We moved out on May 14th and our renters moved in on May 15th. I don't think it will hit us until summer is over because we have lived here the past 2 summers anyway. So it should be interesting come fall & winter! We miss Millville but are excited for a change of pace. To keep me thinking positive, I am making a list of some of the nice things about living at Bear Lake... - the lake! (obviously!)
- this beautiful valley! It is really so pretty here.
- living within walking distance to the city park & the beach
- living close to Brian & Jaimee in the summer and Chuck & Ginger the whole year
- living more simply (I can't go shopping any old time - this will be good for me)
- meeting new people, making new friends, etc.
- Being able to spend more time together as a family (after the summer is over of course!) because Brent won't have to drive to Bear Lake and be gone a few days a week with us still in Millville.
- Not having to drive the canyon so much (I hope)
I also wanted to write down a few funny things that Gavin has been saying lately so I have it recorded somewhere. I am not good at keeping a journal so blogging is great for me. He is at such a fun stage right now and he cracks us up. Here are a few funny things he has been saying...
"I did it I be self!" (Meaning 'by myself")
"What's that noisy?"
"Mama, come tuck me in!" He yells from his bedroom after I've already tucked him in...a few times. He has become quite the master staller when it comes to bed time!

He is such a cute boy. I can still remember the TUCK ME IN yell. We probably did it long after we should have stopped, it is a game & excuse when you can't go to sleep. I hope you adjust well to full-time Bear Lake, it is beautiful over there. We'll hve to find you if we make it over this summer.
Congrats on a successful move! Another positive - you're so close to Tim & Cindy. heehee - you'll have to take that cute little boy of yours over for a visit when they're going through grand-daughters withdrawal. Enjoy the lake!
Glad that you guys are all settled in at the lake, and enjoying it there. :) I have always loved Bear Lake! It makes me sad to think that my Grandparents might sell their cabin one day. I can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!!!
I am glad that you are getting settled. Hopefully we can come and see you next year when Russ's family has there family reunion. Or even in a few weeks when we come camping with my family in the canyon. Do you still have the same phone?
