Anyway, one goal I have is to run a 1/2 marathon in Salt Lake in April. I am training with my wonderful sister-in-laws, Kristen and Jaimee, and Jaimee's awesome sister Rachel. It is so nice to have others to work out with, otherwise let's be honest, I probably wouldn't do it! I need the moral support.
Another goal I have is to read the Book of Mormon in 97 days to honor President Hinckley. (The Hinckley Challenge) If you're wondering what I'm talking about, check out http://www.hinckleychallenge.com/. Thanks to Donna and Natalie for spreading the word! Otherwise I probably wouldn't have found out about it. I definitely needed something to motivate me to read the Book of Mormon and this is it! I can read it and honor President Hinckley at the same time. Fabulous! I decided to post this to give me even more motivation! I figure if everyone knows about it there's no backing out!

Such a good idea Randi, I'm proud of you and know that you can accomplish any goals you set for yourself b/c your stronger than you think. I love you and am very excited to run the marathon with you and the girls, it's been a great motivation to loose the weight I'm always complaining about, so why not do something about it right!!! I just might take you up on the challenge about reading the book of mormon that is a really good idea and didn't know about it. Thanks for sharing! love ya xoxoxo
Can't wait to follow-up on your goals...we will be watching, so you have more motivation NOW!
Randi! I've been thinking about you so much lately! Your family is adorable. You are skinny as usual..I am jealous! You little boy is too cute. Funny story: I had a dream about me and you in cheerleading last night. I have nightmares about cheerleading all the time. I just remember me and you forgeting our uniforms, and Becky glaring at us, and then we forgot our dance routine and everyone was laughing at us. It was such an aweful dream. Jake thinks I am crazy that those dreams upset me that bad...but they totally do. I hope you are doing well. Thanks for always commenting on my blog, you are so sweet. I love seeing your mom and walmart, she always lets me know how you are doing.
Love ya! Pam
Way to go Randi! You are a braver woman than I am to run that 1/2 marathon- good luck! I'll be checking up on you and seeing how you're doing--hahaha just kidding.
Go you girls with your 1/2 marathon! You are so cute! Kim and I have just started running too. We want to run a 1/2 but have not found one to do yet. There are tons this month and March but we are not ready yet! Wish we could all run together!!!
that's great! it feels so good to make some goals and really start working on them. i love that feeling of progress! and a half marathon! i'm impressed.
what class are you taking that's getting you motivated?
Deb, the class we are taking is a "Life Stategy Course" where we learn all about our different personalities, how to set and accomplish goals and be successful. It is very interesting.
